Helen L. Hyman Winch, of Route 78, Java Village, died Thursday October 4, 2018 in Autumnview Health Care Facility, Hamburg, New York at the age of 95. She was born February 2, 1923 in Buffalo, New York a daughter of the late Casper and Clara (nee Almeter) Kibler. She was a homemaker and helped on the family farm. She was a member of St. John Neumann Church in Strykersville, was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and was active in all church functions. She enjoyed playing cards. On August 9, 1945 in North Java she married Donald J. Hyman, Mr. Hyman died March 7, 1976; on September 1, 1978 in Strykersville she married Richard S. Winch, Mr. Winch died March 27, 2005. She is survived by her children - Dan (Donna) Hyman of Strykersville, Tom (Alice) Hyman of Strykersville, Sally (Barry) Mason of Orchard Park, Stephen Hyman of Strykersville, Jean (Jeff) Smith of Castile, Brian (Julie) Hyman of Arcade, Laurie (Brad) Monin of East Concord, Richard F. (Sue) Winch of Florida, Carol (Pete) Schnitzler of Strykersville, Diane Hart of Java Village; a sister - Isabelle Liberati of Strykersville; a brother - Charles (Marion) Kibler of Stykersville; sisters-in-law - Doris Kibler of North Java, Mary Henry of Johnsonburg, Marion Hoffman of Williamsville, brothers-in-law - Rev. Fr. David Hyman of Stoneville, NC, Leon (Gertrude) Hyman of Strykersville, Larry (Donna) Hyman of East Aurora; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son - Terry Hyman; six brothers, two sisters and brothers-in-law - Ray Liberati and Harry Hoffman. Friends may call Sunday October 7, 2018 from 2-8 pm at W. S. Davis Funeral Home, Inc., 358 W. Main St., Arcade. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday October 8, 2018 at 11 am in St. John Neumann Church, 3854 Main St., Strykersville. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Strykersville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
