Tyler T. McElheny of Rt. 98, Freedom died Friday, October 13, 2017 in Franklinville, NY at the age of 20. He was born November 20, 1996 in Buffalo, NY a son of Michael and Elizabeth (nee Bigelow) McElheny of Freedom. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting, music and was a great artist. He was also a member of the Delevan Fire Department and Auxiliary. He was a 2014 Pioneer High School graduate. He also graduated from GCC in Arcade in 2014 with his Associate's degree and continued his education at St. Bonaventure in Olean where he graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Accounting (BBA) in December of 2016. He was weeks away of graduating with his MBA at St. Bonaventure. Tyler was employed at Pierce Milling in Delevan. He is survived by his parents; his sister: Leah Grace of Freedom; his grandfather: Gordon McElheny of Delevan as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home in Arcade. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 11 AM at Pioneer Christian Fellowship, 303 Rt. 39, Arcade, NY 14009. Pastor Jeff Hokenson will officiate. He will be interred in Delevan Cemetery.
