Donna Lee Lampmon
Fort Edward Donna Lee Lampmon, 48, of Broadway, Fort Edward, beloved sister and friend returned to the lords hands on Monday, October 12, 2015 after a sudden illness. Born on August 5, 1967 in Glens Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Truman “Bud” and Josephine “Josie” (Johnson) Lampmon. Donna attended Argyle High School, graduating in 1985. She then went on to earn an associate’s degree in hotel technology in 1987, from SUNY Cobleskill. Donna enjoyed playing poker with the “girls” as well as trivia night. She was an avid pet lover who donated her time and money to the SPCA. She loved nature and participating in pool tournaments with her late boyfriend, Rich Weaver. Most of all she adored the children in her life as well as spending time with her family. Besides her parents and boyfriend, Donna is predeceased by her brother, Terry A. Lampmon; as well her dog, Phoenix; and cat, Ms. Mary. Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Francis J. Lampmon and his wife, Jean, Robert J. Lampmon, Richard E. Lampmon and his wife, Susan and Andrew J. Lampmon and his wife, Linda; her best friend who was like a sister, Sheri Alix, her husband Jim and their children, Justin and Ryan; her nieces, Heather, Samantha, Amanda and Kim; her nephews, Josh and Bradley; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
