Kate Taylor Obituary

Argyle Kate (Folz) Taylor, 26, of Argyle NY, passed away Friday Jan. 10, 2014. Born on January 13, 1987 in Glens Falls, she was the beloved daughter of Nancy (South) Wade of Argyle and her father for 23 years, Bart Wade of Hartford. Kate graduated from Argyle Central School, class of 2005. She attended Adirondack Community College and worked for LensCrafters in Saratoga. Kate was a true walking angel. She was a beautiful girl both inside and out with a smile that could light up the darkest day. She was the good in all of us; her presence a gift to the world. Kate fought her battle with cancer with courage, love, and laughter; her thoughts were always of others and never of herself. She brought us all joy and happiness; we will miss her every day and moment. When you see a ray of sunshine, remember her. She was our bright and shining girl. We love you dearly, Kate and will never forget you or your love that you showed to those close to you. No one will ever take your place and we hold you in our hearts forever. Kate enjoyed many things, from reading and drawing, to her animals and computer, and in the end, the warmth of a sunny, hot day, long walks in summer and the baths that comforted her so much. Her son, Ty, was the focus in her life, and may he always know that his mom loved him dearly. I love you, my little girl, always and forever. Kate is predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Meg South. Survivors besides her parents include her son, Ty Jacob Taylor and his father Reuban Taylor of Argyle; her brother Dillon Wade of South Glens Falls; grandparents Carl and Louise Folz of Hackettstown, NJ; grandfather Clifford South of South Glens Falls; stepbrother Brandon Wade; stepsister Rose Wade; special uncles Peter Folz and David Folz; as well as many other uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends. A special thanks to two close friends and confidants, Amanda Clardy and Joann Ray, you have both stood by our sides through it all and have been part of the family. Friends may call from 12-2pm Saturday January 18, 2014 at the Argyle Presbyterian Church, 48 Main Street, Argyle.
