Louise Waters

Argyle Louise Lorraine Waters, 68, of Shine Hill Road, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Washington Center in Argyle. Born on October 29, 1946 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Louis Jr. and Lillian (Rogers) DuFore. She was an employee of Mallinckrodt for 10 years and also worked at Cumberland Farms for 11 years. Louise enjoyed archery as a child, in her later years she enjoyed arts and crafts and gardening. She made many friends at the nursing home, and she was instrumental in establishing a chapel there. Louise was a very hard worker and a very dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the NRA. Besides her parents Louise was predeceased by her brother, Louis A DuFore and her husband Lewie H Derusha. Left to cherish her memories include her daughter Leanna Louie; her son, Mark Waters and wife Elizabeth, her grandchildren; Brittany Louie, Kayla Louie and her partner John Mulcahy, Cryslynn Louie and Fiancé Joseph Shevy, Jonathan Louie and partner Charissa Lewis, her sister; Margaret Bradberry, her great grandchildren; Tone’ and John, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. At Louise request there will be no calling hours. A service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations in Louise memory can be made out to S.P.C.A. of Upstate New York P.O. Box 171 Hudson Falls, NY 1839 or Washington Center Activity Department 4573 State Route 40 Argyle, NY 12809.
