Robert Milne Obituary

Argyle Robert J. "Bob" Milne, 48, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 10, 2015 following a brief illness. Born in Troy on March 22, 1967, he was the son of the late James (Bucky) and Jeanette(Crandall) Milne of Cossayuna, NY. He was born and raised in Troy NY. He attended Troy City School 14, and Argyle Central School following his move to Cossayuna in 1986. He remained in the Argyle area throughout his adult life. He was employed by S.C.A. Tissue Co. in Greenwich for over 15 years prior to his passing. Like his father, Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and valued a quiet home life. He also enjoyed maintaining his extensive knife collection. He was a good cook who enjoyed preparing homemade meals for family and friends, but Bob’s most memorable quality will always be his quiet, loving and gentle nature. He was a humble and sensitive man who never failed to express the affection he had for his family and friends. Bob was a quiet man who seldom spoke an unkind word of anyone and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His kind and gentle spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Left to cherish his memories are two beloved daughters, Emilie and Rebekah Milne of Hartford; three brothers, Norton (Margo) Milne of Green Island, David (Edna) Milne of Angleton, TX, and Raymond (Jessie) Milne of Argyle; six sisters, Linda (Rocco) Tozzi of Latham, Tammy (James) Gabriel of Brunswick, Kim Dinon of Troy, Lori (David) Grinnell of Averill Park, Colleen (Brian) Arnold of Galway and Debbie Rowe of Virginia; along with several nieces, nephews and treasured friends including Amy McCall of Argyle. Friends may call from 4-7p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home 123 Main Street, Argyle, NY 12809.
