Alexander M. Malachowski, age 74, of Tallow Wood Court died on January 23, 2019. He was born February 7, 1944 in Bronx, NY and was the son of the late Michael and Helen (Trombetta) Malachowski.
Alex was raised in Eastchester, NY and graduated from Tuckahoe High School. After high school, Alex went on to study at Westchester Community College and Concordia College in Eastchester.
His work as an engineer was his passion and he had a long and fulfilling career as the Director of Engineering with Total Kare in Syracuse, NY.
Alex enjoyed traveling with his family, boating on the lake, and camping in the great outdoors. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and loved the thrill of fast cars.
Alex is survived by his loving wife Theo (Ashback) Malachowski; his beloved children Robert A. (Nicole) Malachowski, Elizabeth M. (Marc) Badalucco, and Meredith S. (Harry) Cohn and his adoring grandchildren Nikolas Malachowski, Lauren, Juliana, Marc Jr., Mia and John Badalucco and Mackenzie and Ian Cohn.
Alex is predeceased by his sister Diane Anderson.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Saturday January 26, 2019 from 4:00-6:00pm at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake, NY 12019.
A 6:00 pm service will conclude the evening.
