Beatrice M. Cath, age 94, of Van Buren Road, died peacefully on November 1, 2018 at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on April 22, 1924 in Kentville, Nova Scotia and was the daughter of the late George E. and Ruby (Weagles) Graves.
Beatrice worked as a receptionist at Rosa Road Orthopedics for many years.
In her free time, Beatrice so loved travelling to her childhood home in Nova Scotia.
She was known for her phenomenal cooking and baking as well as her talent for knitting and sewing beautiful clothes.
Beatrice is survived by her beloved children Cheryl (Ronald) Smith, Deborah (John) Edwards and Gregory A. Cath; loving siblings Lillian Spencer, Alice Clare, Sylvia Stephenson, Linda McKenzie, George Graves and Wayne Graves; adoring grandchildren Cynthia, Julie, Michael and John Jr.; sweet great grandchildren Little Cindy, Brandi, McKenna, Dalton, Rachel and Baby Emma, as well as several nieces and nephews in New York and in Canada.
Beatrice was predeceased by her devoted husband Donald E. Cath and beloved son Donald E. Cath II.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday November 5, 2018 at 10:00am-12:00pm at the Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Rd., Ballston Lake, NY 12019. Funeral will follow at 12:00pm.

Interment will be in ParkView Cemetery, Schenectady, New York.

The family wishes to thank Beatrice’s doctor and entire supporting staff on the N2 Unit at Baptist Health. The kindness and love shown to Beatrice and her family was a comfort during her stay there.
