Dear Kyle and Ryan, your mom was a very special women! We were close when she worked together at Amersham Biosciences. She was driven and a fantastic Sales Representative and was successful in UpState NY. We all enjoyed working with Karen, she was funny, strong and always positive, no matter what the situation. I recall she went back to Boston to take care of her mom, we would talk via the phone. She loved to tell me the latest updates on your athletic careers. My thought and prayers are with you.

Kyle and Ryan: I was very close to your mom when we worked at Integrated Genetics in Framingham back in 1983-1987 and we stay connected by Christmas cards each year since then. Karen was always smiling and laughing in the early days and she was even more happy with the arrival of you two boys! You were her stars! Karen's kindness and humor was unmatched and friends could not help but smile in her presence. I am so sorry for your loss and may the happy memories sustain you!
I met Karen in her profession as a sales rep of biochemical reagents. She was not even my sales rep but her bubbly personality and love of fun and life drew me and others to her. We had a lot of fun together at meetings and the few times we got together. Her laughter was infectious. But, it was also easy to see that she was a very caring person. I feel sad that I live far and could not be close to her. If this condolence message would let me, I would post one of the beautiful pictures I have of her. Rest in Peace my Lovely Friend.
