Robert C. Supley, 85, of Lake Hill Road, died suddenly on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at his residence. He was born on October 29, 1930 in Schenectady, NY and was the son of the late Prosper and Cynthia (Wicks) Supley. Bob was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School in Schenectady. He had lived in Ballston Lake since 1961. For over 40 years he worked at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory in Niskayuna until his retirement as Manager of Site Operations in 1991. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, canoe, fish and snow ski. For a number of years, he was a ski instructor at Maple Ridge. He especially loved family times and quiet times at his log home on Schroon Lake. He was an auto racing enthusiast and NYS Archery Champion in 1957 & 1958.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Janice E. (Coon) Supley; his children, Mark A. (Paula) Supley, Keith E. Supley and Susan A. (the late David) Temple; his siblings, Cynthia DaMassa, Marie Justin, Lois DeKalb and Roland Supley; his grandchildren, Kyle Supley and Cara and Jenna Temple. Bob was pre deceased by his brothers, Paul and Walter Supley.

Funeral will be held privately and there will be no calling hours.

Interment will be in Memory Garden’s Cemetery, Colonie, NY.
