Barbara 'Bobbi' Drusik

Barbara ‘Bobbi’ A. Drusik, 79, a life-long Fishkill and Beacon resident, passed away suddenly on June 11, 2019 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was born on September 1, 1939 in Fishkill, NY, daughter of the late William Homer Barrett and Laura Mae (nee Booth) Barrett. On July 3, 1962 at St. John the Evangelist Church in Beacon, NY, she married Joseph Martin Drusik; who predeceased her on September 13, 1999. Bobbie was a member of the B.P.O.E Lodge #1493 of Beacon, for over 17-years; she was also a member of the Elks Lodge Ladies Auxiliary. Bobbie is survived by her son, Scott P. Drusik; and her sister Lois Barret. She is also survived by a granddaughter Ashley Van Buren, and several nieces, nephews & many friends. Along with her husband, Bobbi was predeceased by her son, Joseph W. Drusik on May 8, 2012. A Service of Remembrance will be held 7 PM, Thursday, June 20th at the Beacon Elks Lodge #1493, 900 Wolcott Avenue, Beacon; Friends will gather starting at 6:30pm.
