Obituary for Richard J Bebla

Richard J. Bebla passed away unexpectedly Wednesday March 18, 2015. He was predeceased by his parents Metro and Lucy Bebla and his brother David Bebla. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend MaryAnne. He was a loving and patient father to his children; RicBebla and Donald Pello, Jennifer Bebla and Fiance’ Michael Vinsevich, Mandi and Peter Bearsch, and Michael Ackley. His Very Special and Very Loved Grandchildren, Kiersten, Riley, Ava and Palmer. His children and grandchildren were the most important things to him. Also special to him were Matthew and Lisa Potts and their children; Megan, Zachery, and Joshua and the many times and special memories shared with them. His brothers Edward Bebla and Thomas Bebla, brothers and sisters in law; Carol Nojaim, Kathy Bousquet and CasKrohl, Jeanne and Brent VanBuskirk, George Evans, Michael and Donna Evans, Mark and Mindy Evans, James and Pam Evans, Joseph Evans (deceased), Bernard Evans, Paula and Terry Zevan, Lisa and Matthew Potts, his Uncle and Aunt Joseph and Eleanor DeLois, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Also close to rick wasvery good friend and fellow coach John Allen, together they coached girls’ softball for the City of Binghamton for 25+ years and loved every minute of it. He loved spending time with children, as one of players once said about their coaching “You guys didn’t only teach us softball, you taught us things we can use our whole lives”. He retired from Frito-Lay after 35 years of service where he leaves many friends. Rick will be greatly missed by all who knew him, he had a way to cheer you up when you were down or help you see the answer to your problem, a man with a warm and gentle smile and a great big heart. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital or to Wounded Warrior Project. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Savage Funeral Home, 338 Conklin Ave Binghamton N.Y from 11:00 am until the service. A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. at The Savage Funeral Home with Monsignor Meagher officiating Burial to immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery.
