Collabolletta, Amelia, “Mimi”, life long resident of Croton Falls, NY, died Thursday June 27, 2013 at Putnam Hospital Center. She was 100 years old.
Mimi a was born on March 24, 1913 in Sleepy Hollow, NY, daughter to the late Augusta and Angelina (Bocchino) Collabolletta. She attended North Salem Schools.
Ms. Collabolletta was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Croton Falls, NY.
Mimi worked for Readers Digest in Pleasantville, NY for over 31 years in the mail order department before retiring.
Ms. Collabolletta is survived by her niece Nancy A. Corsi of Croton Falls, NY, her nephew Roger Paro of Fishkill, NY, her four grand nieces; Susan Henshaw, Christine Page, Nicole Tarnowski and Kelly Durkin. Amelia was predeceased by her 6 sisters and 1 brother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday July 2, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, Croton Falls, NY. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Somers, NY. A private cremation occurred prior to the mass.
