Kellock, Arylne, M., age 67, of Long Island City, NY, died Monday, November 11, 2013 at Putnam Ridge Nursing Home.
Ms. Kellock was born March 31, 1946 in Flushing, NY, daughter to John W. and Evelyn R. Kellock. Her mother predeceased her on November 25, 2012.
Arlyne graduated from St. Agnes Academy in College Pt, NY, she then attended Queens General School of Nursing and received her bachelor of Nursing Science from Fairleigh Dickinson College. She received her masters of Education and her masters of Nursing Science from Columbia University.
Ms. Kellock taught at St. Claire’s School of Nursing, Beth Israel School of Nursing and Skidmore College School of Nursing before teaching at Kingsborough Community College, Brooklyn, NY, were she was an associate Professor for 5 years before retiring in 2005.
Arlyne is survived by cousins from the Klausman, O’Brien, O’Connor and Wilson families.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 16, 2013
10:00AM at Sacred Heart Church, Patterson, NY. A private cremation will follow. Friends may call at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster on Friday from 4-8PM.
