He was born on July 18, 1918 in Torrington, CT.<br>Baptist was retired from Harrison School District and Town of Dover Transfer Station. He was a former post commander of American Legion in Wingdale, NY, a veteran of the US Army Air corps in WWII,a member of the Golden Chords-man chapter of SPBSQA and a fourth degree Knight. <br>He was predeceased y a daughter Pamela Scarborough, Survived by his wife of 72 years Victoria Bianco, son Joseph Bianco, daughters Christine Bowman and Aurora Heanue, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.July 18, 1918 - June 9, 201507/18/191806/09/2015
