You were such a wonderful man. Always viewed you as bigger than life....Such fond memories of you from childhood, raking leaves, hearing the banjo on warm summer nights and the overall guidance you provided

We are deeply saddened with the news of Bart's passing.
Thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We are so sorry for your loss.
Our family feels so blessed to have known Bart. He was a kind, caring, wonderful man, who raised incredible children.
Mark and I have many memories of Bart and my dad. They only knew each other for a few years, but they had an instant connection when Kat and I introduced them. The times they spent together were always great. I will never forget how excited they both were when we took them to a Knicks game, and how much they both enjoyed the "In the Heights" show. My dad even looked forward to going to the Mall with him. Bart would walk while my dad rode on his scooter because his legs were too weak. Many times it was a reason for my dad to hang on. They had a special friendship and Bart was there to say goodbye a few days before he passed.
Rest in peace Bart. You will be missed but never forgotten.
Mark and Doreen
