Bernard Robert ‘Bob’ Campbell, age 80, a resident of Jensen Beach, FL, formerly of Brewster,
NY, died Monday, January 15, 2018 in Valhalla, NY.

Bob was born on June 23, 1937 in the Bronx, NY to James and Rose (Farrell) Campbell. He
attended Blessed Sacrament in New Rochelle, NY and served as a military policeman in the Air
Force from 1954 until 1958. During his service, he traveled overseas to England in 1955.

Bob married the love of his life, Joan Fallon, on May 29, 1960 in Long Beach Long Island, NY.
Through the years, Bob was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His love for his family,
especially his grandchildren, was immeasurable.

Bob worked for Con Edison in Rye, NY, servicing the Westchester area for 42 years. He began
his career as a lineman, and worked his way up to a managerial position before his retirement in
the year 2000.

Through the years Bob was a fan of both football and baseball. After his retirement, he and his
wife moved to Florida, where they enjoyed the sun and surf. He spent many hours surf fishing
with his friends on Hutchinson Island.

In addition to his wife, Joan, of 57 years, Bob is survived by his four children, Robert Campbell
of West Haven, CT, William (Lucia) Campbell of Brewster, NY, Lori (Kyle) Macomber of New
Fairfield, CT and Leslie (Patrick) Tyndall of Brewster, NY; his sisters, Bernadette (Tom)
Jackson of New City, NY and Patricia Joyce of South Pasadena, FL; and his seven loving
grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a brother James Campbell Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 19, 2018 10:00am at St. Lawrence
O’Toole Church, Brewster. A private cremation will follow. Friends may call at the Beecher
Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster on Thursday from 4 to 8pm.
