Betty Lanotte, of Brewster, NY, died on Monday, November 6, 2017 in Purdys, NY. She was 87 years old. <br><br>Betty was born on February 1, 1930 in Weehawken, NJ to Carmelo and Concetta (Ferrauto) Giordano. She graduated from schools in the Bronx. On October 24, 1964, Betty married Savino Lanotte at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Bronx, NY. Mr. Lanotte died on November 6, 1985. <br><br>Betty had worked as an administrative assistant with Wilcox and Gibbs in New York City.<br><br>Betty had enjoyed her family and her faith. She loved cooking and listening to music. In particular, it was music of today, music that her granddaughter Kristina enjoyed, that she enjoyed best. <br><br>Betty is survived by her two daughters, Constance (Mark) Boldish of Brewster, NY and Christine Lanotte of NY, NY and her granddaughter, Kristina Denise McKenzie.<br><br>On Wednesday, November 8, 2017, from 4-8 pm, a visitation will be held at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY (www.BeecherFuneralHome.com). A funeral service will be held during the wake on Wednesday at 6:00pm. A private interment will be held the following day at Calvary Cemetery in Queens, NY. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Betty’s memory to the Putnam Humane Society at P.O. Box 297, Carmel, NY 10512 or online to the ASPCA.ORG. <br><br>

Betty Lanotte, of Brewster, NY, died on Monday, November 6, 2017 in Purdys, NY. She was 87 years old.
