Catherine Tuohy, 84, of Brewster, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2019.<br><br>Born in Brooklyn, Catherine was a sister to 8 siblings. She married Matthew Tuohy on May 24, 1958. Together they raised 9 children: Marie, Tommy, Barbara, Noreen, Raymond, Christine, Marykate, Andrew, and Gerard. Through their years the family grew to include sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, along with 19 beautiful grandchildren.<br><br>Catherine was a devoted wife, mother and sister. Her calm, steady, strength and faith were a source of comfort to her family as they navigated life’s many storms. <br> <br>A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 10 am at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church,<br>Brewster, NY. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery. Friends may call at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster on Friday, November 29th from 4 to 8 pm. <br><br>In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.Obituary
