David Richard Scofield, 55, of Milford, CT, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from accumulated respiratory complications. <br>He was born in Queens, NY on March 31st 1961 to Delmer and Dorothy Kay Scofield. David graduated from Brewster High School and went on to study at Arizona State University in Tempe. <br>David took pride in working as a Captain and Sommelier early in his career, and as an Accountant and Payroll Specialist later on. As well as being an avid history enthusiast, he loved his New York Yankees and was looking forward to working a part-time job at Yankee Stadium. <br>David is survived by his mother, Dorothy Babcock, his sister Donna Carlson, his brothers Peter and Douglas Scofield, his nephew Jeffrey Carlson, 8 nieces, cousins and many friends and colleagues. <br>His wonderful spirit, joy, and talents will be celebrated at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave. Brewster, NY 10509 from 4 - 8 pm on Friday September 23, 2016.
