Donald A. Williams of Mahopac, New York, died Wednesday June 20, 2012 in his home at the age of 80.
He was born July 30, 1931 in Bronx, NY son of the late George and Viola (Rustin) Williams. On July 24, 1966 he married Patricia Lonergan at St. Joseph’s Church in Croton Falls. He worked as a Repairman for NY Telephone for 36 yrs. before retiring in 1987.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife Patricia and his two sons; Ronald Williams of Mahopac and Roger Williams of Ormand Beach, FL, and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Shawn in 2003.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday June 23, 2012, 10 am in St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster, NY. Interment following at St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery, Brewster. Calling hrs. will held at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Hospice Care in Westchester and Putnam.
