Dorothy Osnoe

Dorothy M. Osnoe of Brewster, NY, died peacefully at home with her family by her side on July 26, 2020. She was 87 years old
Mrs. Osnoe was born on August 9. 1932 in Danbury, CT. She was a 1950 graduate of Danbury High School.
On July 4, 1953 she married the love of her life Walter J. Osnoe Jr in Danbury, CT. Mr. Osnoe predeceased his wife on November 24, 2015 after 62 years of marriage.
Dorothy was a secretary for Niles Agency in Katonah, NY. She retired in 1997 after 42 years in the insurance business. She was an active parishioner of St. Lawrence O’ Toole Church. Dorothy was a social person; she was always hosting at her home. She enjoyed golfing. Once Walter and Dorothy retired, they enjoyed traveling the world.
Dorothy is survived by her three children; Susan O’ Connor (Alex) of Mahopac, NY, David J. (Carol) Osnoe of Poughkeepsie, NY and Donna (Andy) O’Connor of Brewster, NY; her sister Margaret Pambianchi. Also, her five grandchildren; Danielle, William, Andrew, Sarah and Devin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday July 31 at 10am at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, Brewster, NY. Interment following at St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery, Brewster, NY. Friends may call at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY on Thursday July 30, 2020 from 4pm-8pm. Please visit www.beecherfuneralhome.com to send Dorothy’s family condolence.
