Dorothy J. White, of South Cairo, NY, died Friday, May 9, 2014 at Columbia Memorial Hospital. She was 73 years old.
Dorothy was born August 6, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter to the late Walter and Dorothy (Heisohn) Theilig.
Ms. White was a secretary for JP Morgan- Chase in Manhattan for many years before retiring. She was loved animals, especially her birds. She had a kind heart and worked hard for everything, giving to others when she had very little. Dorothy never gave up and was a strong person.
She is survived by her two daughters; Dawn Kubilus of Brewster, NY and Donna Ruppert of Mahopac, NY, 3 grandchildren; Isabella, Rebecca and Ronald..
A graveside service will be held on Thursday May 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Milltown Rural Cemetery, Brewster, interment immediately following. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 14, 2014 from 4pm-8pm at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in her memory to second chance bird rescue, 36 Normandale Rd, Rochester, NY and/or American Cancer Society.

She will be greatly missed.
