Everett G. Moore

Everett G. Moore of Lake Ariel, PA, passed away with his family at his side at his daughter’s home in Brewster, NY at the age of 85.<br>He was born September 22, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Everett G. and Malena (Sparkes) Moore. He graduated Central High School in North Salem, NY, in 1949 then joined the Air Force. On January 3, 1953 he married Thelma Bernard whom he met while they were both serving in the Airforce and married at Hickum Field Airforce Base Chapel in Hawaii. After their discharge from the service they lived in Brewster, NY, for thirty years. Mr. Moore was a Transportation Supervisor for New York State Electric and Gas in Brewster for over twenty five years before retiring in 1987. After retiring they moved to Lake Ariel, PA.<br> His wife Thelma predeceased him on March 3, 2011. He is survived by his son Richard Moore of Panama City, FL, daughter Sherri Migliaccio of Brewster, NY, a brother James Moore and Sister Georgiana Krobetzky both of Panama City, FL, grandchildren Kristen Tumminello, Mathew and Eric Migliaccio and Brendan Moore and great grandchildren Frankie, Luca and Mia Tumminello. He was also predeceased by his son Robert E. Moore on May 20, 2009.<br>Calling hours will be held on Saturday May 13, 2017 at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY from 1:00pm to 3:00pm followed by a funeral service at 3:00pm at the funeral home.
