<br><br>Felix A. Christofalo, of Danbury, CT, died with his family by his side on January 1, 2017 at Glen Hill Center. He was 95 years old.<br><br> Felix was born January 14, 1921 in Maiera, Italy, son to the late Philip J. and Antoinette (Praino) Christofalo. When he was 8 years old he immigrated to the USA through Ellis Island with his brother, mother and cousins and settled in Goshen, NY. After working as an airplane mechanic, he served as a pilot in the Army Airforce during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1946.<br><br>Mr. Christofalo married the love of his life Viola Parente on May 6, 1949 in the Bronx, NY. She predeceased him on February 27, 2006. <br><br> Felix was an insurance adjuster for over 30 years with Allstate Insurance in White Plains, NY before retiring. Felix and his father completely renovated their homes and built many things from scratch. His greatest passion in life was his family.<br><br> Mr. Christofalo is survived by his 3 children: Louise Marsek and her husband Theodore of Brewster, NY, Philip Christofalo and his wife Deidre of Monmouth Junction, NJ and Paul Christofalo of Danbury, CT, his 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was predeceased by his twin brother Frank.<br><br>A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday January 4, 2017 at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, Brewster, NY at 10am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.<br><br>

Felix A. Christofalo, of Danbury, CT, died with his family by his side on January 1, 2017 at Glen Hill Center. He was 95 years old.

Felix was born January 14, 1921 in Maiera, Italy, son to the late Philip J. and Antoinette (Praino) Christofalo.
