Frances M. Maytan

Frances M. Maytan, Fran, of Putnam Lake, NY, died Monday April 17, 2017 at the Grand at Pawling. She was 77 years old.

Fran was born September 15, 1939 in the Bronx, New York to the late Frank and Frances (Volpichelli) Mattia. On April 24, 1971 she married the love of her life John Maytan in the Bronx.

Mrs. Maytan was a secretary for Webster Plumbing Supply in the Bronx for 43 years before retiring in 2002. Fran was a homemaker, she enjoyed her flower gardens and added more every year. Everyone who met her loved her and she loved them, her family was important to her and never missed an event.

Fran is survived by her loving husband John of 45 years, her sister of Pompton Lakes, NJ and many cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 20, 2017 at 11:30am at St. Lawrence O’ Toole Church, Brewster, NY. Friends may call at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY on Wednesday from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.
