Frank H. Schaub

Frank H. Schaub, of North Salem, NY, passed away peacefully at Northern Westchester Hospital on Thursday September 12, 2019. He was 83 years old.

Mr. Schaub was born on March 27, 1936 in the Bronx, NY son of the late Francis H. and Alice (Kelly) Schaub. He was a high school graduate of Clinton High School. Frank Honorably served in the US Army from 1959-1962.

Frank married Gail VanScoy on October 31, 1959. Together they moved to North Salem NY in 1962 where they raised their family.

Mr. Schaub worked for the telephone company as a manager for 34 years before retiring in 1989. He enjoyed fishing, camping and boating. He was a devoted father and grandfather.

Frank is survived by his 3 children; Francis (Janet) Schaub, Christine Shaver, Robert (Terry) Schaub, his grandchildren; Frankie, Rebecca, Matthew, Sara, Ricky, Jessica, Laura, Alexa and Matthew, his great granddaughter Evelyn,his sister in law Brenda and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas.

A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday September 16, 2019 at 10:30am at the First United Methodist Church of Brewster. Interment will follow at Old Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3pm-6pm on Sunday September 15, 2019 at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY.

In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Frank may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Brewster, 83 Main Street, Brewster, NY 10509 and/or the North Salem Ambulance Corp.
