Frederick Robert Morrison, of Brewster, NY passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. He was 83 years old.
Fred, fondly known as Scotty, was born on December 31, 1933 in Summit, NJ. He attended Columbia University and served in the Air Force from 1952-56. He worked for Bell Telephone/Verizon and was a CWA union member. After retirement, he worked as a realtor and home inspector with Coldwell Banker. He was an active member of the PEARL ham radio group (K2LBG ==> N2AEE).
He was predeceased by his second wife, Deborah Delafield Morrison and sister Laura Morrison. He is survived by his first wife Elizabeth Morrison ,children Jacqueline Morrison, F. Robert Morrison (Carmen), Heather Maras (Kevin) and Polly Delafield (Ron) and six grandchildren, Sarah Newell (Aaron), Drew Morrison, Bethany Morrison, Sierra Maras, Ashley Maras and Carson Delafield McMillan.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, January 13, 2017 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Brewster, NY.
