Gail V. Schaub Obituary
Gail V. Schaub, of North Salem, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday January 10, 2017. She was 79 years old.
Mrs. Schaub was born October 25, 1937 in Danbury, Connecticut, daughter to the late Richard C. and Emma (Wetter) VanScoy.
Gail married Francis H. Schaub III on October 31, 1959. Together they moved to North Salem NY in 1962 where they raised their family.
Mrs. Schaub worked for the North Salem School District for over 20 years as a treasurer before retiring in 1999. She was an active member of the First United Methodist of Brewster.
Gail is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Frank; her 3 children; Francis (Janet) Schaub, Christine Shaver, Robert (Terry) Schaub, her brother Richard and her 9 grandchildren; Frank, Alexa and Matthew, Rebecca, Matthew, Sara, Jessica, Ricky and Laura as well as Great Grand Daughter Evelyn.
A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday January 14, 2017 at 10:30am at the First United Methodist Church of Brewster. Interment will follow at Old Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4pm-7pm on Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY.
In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Gail may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Brewster, 83 Main Street, Brewster, NY 10509.
