George S. Neerman (nee Sordelet), 69 years old, passed away on May 16, in Holmes, NY, after a long illness. She was born October 24,1946, in Yonkers, NY.
Georgette graduated from Brewster High School, and received her BS degree at Southern Connecticut State University and MS from Fairfield University. She taught at Bethany Community School, Bethany, CT for over 20 years.
Georgette leaves behind 2 sisters, Mildred Virant (Joe) of Sebastian, Fl, Barbara Weldon (Bob) of Dover Plains, NY and brother, Brian Sordelet of Brewster, NY.
Interment will be private. Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY assisted the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers contribution in Georgette's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
