Helen Frattura (nee Habina), age 84, died Sunday, February 5, 2012 in Poughkeepsie, NY. <br><br>She was born July 1, 1927 in Yonkers, NY to George and Mary (Sabolick) Habina. <br><br>She married Anthony on October 21, 1951. They lived in Yonkers and moved to Brewster in 1958. Together they raised five children. In 1971 she went to work at Putnam County Savings Bank as a teller where she remained until 1996. During those 25 years she worked in both the Brewster and Somers branches.<br><br>Helen’s life revolved around her family. She helped to raise 16 grandchildren. She also loved socializing with her many friends. She loved being of service to others. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony as well as her daughter Donna Frattura Hochstein in 1997 and also three brothers. She is survived by her daughter Rosemary(Paul) Zibell, of Sherman Ct, her son Michael(Carrie) Frattura of Hopewell Junction, NY, her daughter Carol Ann (Steve) Bruen of Sherman, Ct. and her daughter Karen(Jim) Salerno of Brewster, NY. Also surviving is her son-in-law Harold Hochstein of Mount Kisco, NY. She leaves behind 16 grandchildren who knew her as Grammy, and 4 great grandchildren. She has one sister Mary Gomez who lives in Yonkers, NY and several nieces and nephews as well as countless friends. <br><br>A mass of christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 9, 2012 10:00AM at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, Brewster, NY. Friends may call at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 4-8PM.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association National Office, 225 N.
