Henry William Myers, Hank of Brewster, NY, died with his family by his side on April 14, 2017 at Mt. Sinai Hospital. He was 75 years old.

Hank was born on March 24, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY, son to the late Henry F. and Rita (O’Brien) Myers. He grew up in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and spent summers at Peach Lake beginning in 1956. In 2008 he permanently moved to his home in Vails Grove.

Henry was the owner of Henry Myers Plumbing and Heating, Inc., in Brooklyn, NY. He was a kind, loving, and generous man who celebrated life and lived it to its fullest. He enjoyed entertaining and opened his home to all. Aside from his family and his dogs, Henry and Quinlan, his greatest passion in life was giving to others. He always gave without being asked and loved putting a smile on people’s faces.

Hank is survived by his two children; Monica and Timothy and their spouses Monty and Luann; his grandchildren; Jacob and Jordan Myers and Maximus Matrisciani, his siblings Marianne (Boots) Collins, Helen Vail, John Myers and his wife Joan Gabel-Myers, many nieces and nephews and his partner Letizia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 22, 2017 at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, Brewster, NY at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 20, 2017 from 7pm-9pm and Friday April 21, 2017 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.

In Lieu of flowers the family is asking donations to be made to William Syndrome and the Putnam Humane Society.
