Ilse Olsen was born in Germany on September 26, 1930 to
Alma Steffens and Arthur Holst. She came to America at an early age and attended High School as well as Secretarial school. She worked as a receptionist for New York University before retiring. She was a 20 year resident of Carmel, NY. One of her favorite activities was attending the Putnam Senior Center in Carmel, NY.
Ilse is survived by a daughter, Linda Olsen also of Carmel. She is pre-deceased by another daughter Debra Gold in 2013. Also surviving Ilse are two grandsons, Jason Gold, wife Lauren, and Corey Gold, fiance Cheri. Two great grandchildren - Jack Gold and Riley Fitzgerald.
