<br>James P. Bagley passed away peacefully at his home in North Salem, NY on Saturday, July 9. He was born in Connecticut and raised in New York City. He served in the United States Navy in the Pacific during WW II, and then in the N.Y.F.D. for 32 years, rising to Battalion Chief. He is survived by his brother Edward, 3 sons, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by Frances (née O'Connor). A viewing will be held at Beecher Funeral Home in Brewster NY on Tuesday, July 12 from 4-8 pm, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Somers, NY on Wednesday, July 13 at 10 am. Burial will follow at Peach Pond Cemetery in North Salem. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Visiting Nurse Association Hudson Valley at VNAHV.org.
