Enright, James L., known by many as Larry, a lifelong resident Brewster, NY, died Wednesday November 16, 2016 at Putnam Hospital Center. He was 94 years old.

Mr. Enright was born October 1, 1922 in Danbury, CT, son to the late Robert and Beatrice (Shute) Enright. He graduated from Brewster High School. Following graduation Larry honorably served in the US Marine Corps during WWII.

Larry married Mary DeMarco on June 26, 1949 at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster, NY. Mary predeceased Larry on January 19, 2013.

Mr. Enright was a hard worker his entire life. After working for NYS Electric and Gas for over 30 years he retired as a chief lineman at the age of 62. After only one year of retirement he became the grounds keeper at Morefare Golf Course in Brewster, NY until we was 92 years old.

Larry was an active member of the Brewster VFW, he enjoyed golfing and being outdoors. When he was younger he was a great athlete in all variations of sports.

Mr. Enright is survived by his daughter Patricia Kelleher and her husband Tom of Wilton, CT, and his grandson Michael Ryan Kelleher. He was predeceased by his brother Malcolm in 2012.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday November 29, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, Brewster, NY. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery.
