James Thomas Lifrieri, age 61, passed away at Danbury Hospital, on May 16 2015. He is survived by two children, Bernadette and Nicholas Lifrieri, both of Connecticut. He is also survived by five sisters, Joanne Wiley, Mary Ruggerio, Janice Gregory, Regina Lifrieri, Annemarie Caruso, and four brothers, John, Gerard, Michael, and Robert Lifrieri.
James was born in the Bronx, NY, son of the late John A Lifrieri, survived by his mother Therese B Lifrieri.
He attended and graduated from high school there. He worked for various construction companies as a union crane operator, retiring in 2000. For the past 15 years he has lived in Brookfield, Ct., and before that he lived in Danbury as well as New Jersey.
The family will be receiving guests at Beecher Funeral Home on Tuesday May 19 between 9:00am and 10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am at St. John the Evangelist RC Church in Mahopac, NY.
