Verrino, Janet, age 79, of Fort Myers Beach, FL, died November 26, 2016 at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, NY with her family by her side.

Mrs. Verrino was born on September 20, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of the late Leonard and Pearl (Gunty) Beckwith. She graduated from James Madison High School in Brooklyn, NY.

Mrs. Verrino married Andrew Verrino on June 20, 1974 in Yonkers, NY.

Janet was the owner and operator of Ross Mailing in Elmsford, NY from 1963 until her retirement in 2001. While a resident of Fort Myers Beach in Florida, Janet and Andrew had lived in Brookfield, CT and earlier Millwood, NY.

Janet enjoyed her retirement years with her husband Andrew upon the beach where they shared many sunsets together.

Mrs. Verrino is survived by her loving husband Andrew, her children; Alison Ross of Hyde Park, NY, Jessica (Patrick) Hurley of Brewster, NY, Amy (Robert) DeCourcey of Yorktown Heights, NY, Jacqueline (Chad) Calhoun of Carmel, NY, Nancy (Michael) Spilotras of Old Tappan, NJ, Andrew and Domenic Verrino, both of Yonkers, NY, her sister Terry Povugel of Uniondale, NY, 10 grandchildren; Rachel, David, Jack, Ryan, Baily, Daniel, Dana, Michael, Alexa and Andrew. Also one great granddaughter, Paris.

A funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2016 11:00am at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY. Interment will be private. www.beecherfuneralhome.com
