Jean E. Saunders Obituary
Jean Ekstrom Saunders of Danbury, CT, died Sunday July 8, 2012 in Danbury at the age of 86.
Ms. Saunders was born in Brewster, NY on July 1, 1926, daughter of the late Carl and Edna (O’Hara) Ekstrom. She graduated from Brewster High School in 1944 then worked at Bradlees in Danbury for many years before leaving and working for Boehringer Ingelheim in Danbury as a Machine operator.
Ms. Saunders is survived by her son Wayne Saunders of Danbury, CT, her sisters Carol Macomber and Patricia Doyle both of Brewster, NY and Eloise Reinhardt of Carmel, NY. She was pre-deceased by her sisters Joyce and Gloria.
Calling hrs. will be held on Sat. July 14, 2012 from 1 to 4 pm at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY. Funeral services and internment will be private.
