Joan M. Bemis of Wappingers Falls, NY, age 73. Passed away surrounded by family on January 2, 2018, at Vassar Brothers Hospital.
Joan was born to George and Mary Tausek of Yonkers, NY on August 3, 1944.
Joan is survived by sons Robert of Aberdeen, MD and Michael Jr. of Hyde Park, NY. She is also survived by a daughter Daphne Belle of Croton-on-Hudson. Also surviving her are two brothers; Ronald and Glen and two sisters Pearl and Beverly. Additionally she is survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Michael Sr. and two brothers; George Jr. and Gary.
The family will be having a visitation on Saturday, January 6, at Beecher Funeral Home in Brewster from 10-11am, followed by burial at Milltown Cemetery in Brewster
