John Edward Andres<br>Born April 17, 1926 in Yonkers, New York to Fred J. Andres and Laurana Smythe Andres. John graduated from Roosevelt High School and entered the United States Army Air Force, 808th Air Engineering Squadron. He was stationed in England and Germany. John started his career with Macys when they opened in White Plains, New York. He remained with Macys for 46 years, retiring in 1996. <br>John married Louise Haines in Hastings-On-Hudson on May 27, 1950. They lived in Thornwood, New York for 25 years and raised two children there. In 1977, they moved to Brewster, New York.<br>John is survived by his wife Louise of 63 years, his daughter Susan, son Carl and his wife Alicia and his brother Charles of Clifton Park, New York. He was predeceased by his older brother Fred.<br>A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 11:00 AM at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, New York. Interment to follow at Cold Spring Cemetery, Cold Spring, New York.
