John A. Tartaglione

Tartaglione, John A., of Queensbury, NY previously of Lake Carmel, NY died on Sunday September 8, 2013 at The Pines at Glens Falls. He was 80 years old.<br><br>Mr. Tartaglione was born July 15, 1933 in Yonkers, NY, son to the late Anthony and Margaret Tartaglione. In January 1963 he married Constance H. Gustaferro. She predeceased her husband on April 13, 1981.<br><br>Mr. Tartaglione worked as a UPS tractor trailer driver for 28 years before retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Teamsters. Mr. Tartaglione proudly served during the Korean War in the Navy.<br><br>Mr. Tartaglione is survived by his daughter Patricia Tartaglione of Lake George, NY, his son Peter Smith of Kinderhook, NY, his siblings Lori Vittoria of Yonkers, NY and Robert Tartaglione of Yonkers, NY, and 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Constance, two children, Gina Patnode and James Smith and his brother George Tartaglione.<br> <br>A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 13, 2013 10:30 AM at St. James ‘The Apostle’ Church, Carmel, NY. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY. Friends may call at Beecher Funeral Home 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. <br>
