Kropelnicki, Joseph A., age 90, of North Salem, NY, died Monday, May 27, 2013, at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, NY.
Mr. Kropelnicki was born Oct. 1, 1922 in New York City to Joseph and Caroline Kropelnicki. He graduated from schools in New York City and was awarded the Purple Heart for services in the army in Normandy, France during WWII.

On October 6, 1946, Joseph married the love of her life, Catherine Pfisterer in the Bronx, NY.

Mr. Kropelnicki was both a bookkeeper and personal chauffer through the years. He had been a resident of North Salem since 1989, having lived in the Bronx prior.

Mr. Kropelnicki was an avid boxing fan and enjoyed both billiards and traveling.
In addition to his wife Catherine of 67 years, Mr. Kropelnicki is survived by his three children, Kenneth Kropelnicki and his wife Jeani of Mahopac, NY, Laura Macgregor and her husband Bill of Brewster, NY, and Carl Kropelnicki of North Salem, NY; four grandchildren, Billy, Cynthia and her husband Rob, Eric and his wife Adriana and Jesse and six great grandchildren, Billy, Christian, Serena, Eric, Colin and Stella.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 30, 2013 10:00am at St. Josephs Church, Croton Falls, NY. Interment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. Friends may call at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY on Wednesday from 5 to 8pm.
