Katherine Mosher, of Putnam Lake, NY and more recently Brewster, NY, died on Wednesday September 28, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Katherine was born on July 31 in the Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Marion and Waldon Schuck. She grew up there and attended and graduated from Weldon High School. She met her husband Francis Mosher, and married him in 1943 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in the Bronx. In 1959 they moved to Putnam Lake, NY with their family until 2004. After, she resided in Brewster.
Katherine was a piece worker with American Cyanamid in Danbury, CT making surgical equipment. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Rosary Alter Society in Putnam Lake.
Mrs. Mosher is survived by her daughter; Janice Cole of Waterbury, CT, and her son Francis Mosher Jr. of Orlando, FL, her sister Marion O’Keefe of New Fairfield, CT, her 5 grandchildren; Tammi Cole, Candace Cole, Jeanine Roccipiore, David White and Michael Mosher, her 3 great grandchildren; Nykolas Cole, Nyvair Gladney and Kennedy Mosher. Also, niece Patricia Griffin and nephews John and Michael O’Keefe.
She is predeceased by her husband Francis, daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and David White.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday October 1, 2016 at 10 am at Sacred Heart Church, Haviland Drive, Patterson, NY. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence O’ Toole Cemetery, Brewster, NY. Visitation will be held on Friday September 30, 2016 at Beecher Funeral Home, Brewster, NY, from 4pm-7pm.
