Kim A. Costella of Brooklyn, NY, died peacefully with her family by her side on April 2, 2021 at Mt. Sinai Hospital. She was 47 years old.
She was born on September 1, 1973 in Great Neck, NY, daughter of Bobette G. (Sadlo) Costella of Pawling, NY and Gene J. Costella of Yorktown Heights, NY. She was a graduate of Carmel High School and received her associates degree from Westchester Community College in 1994. While working she completed her bachelor’s degree.
Kim was a radiology technician with Mt. Sinai Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She loved the Yankees, going to the beach, music, and dancing. Kim was the life of the party; she always had a smile on her face. Her friends, family, especially her nephews, brought great joy and love to her life.
Kim is survived by her parents Bobette, Gene and Jeane, her stepdad; Ed Larson, her siblings; Kris Costella and her husband James Hauth of Land-O-Lakes, FL, Kenneth Costella of Holmes, NY, her nephews; Hunter, Logan, Otis, Nicolas, Jaden and Tucker. Kim is also survived by her uncles/aunts; Bruce (Anne), Mabel, Billy, Tommy, Michael (Celeste), Loretta (Lance), her Grandmother Anne Miraglia, many cousins and her partner Peter.
Visitation will be held on Friday April 9, 2021 from 3pm-7pm at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY. A private cremation will follow.
