Steinhilb, Margaret C. lifelong resident Brewster, NY died Thursday October 2, 2014 at Putnam Hospital Center. She was 78 years old.
Margaret was born October 9, 1935 in Danbury, CT daughter of the late John and Vera (Sackett) Ronan. She attended Brewster High School graduating in 1953. She also attended Fredonia College and Ithaca College.
Margaret married Robert W. Steinhilb. Together they raised 3 daughters. He predeceased her on July 18, 2001.
Mrs. Steinhilb enjoyed her books, the opera, and especially her cat, Robbie.
Margaret is survived by her three daughters; Vicki Molodec of Fishkill, NY, Lynne Ciocca (Richard) of Pleasantville, NY, and Deborah Romaine of Hopewell Junction, NY, 4 grandchildren; Timothy & Elizabeth Bruen, Daniel & Rachel Romaine.
A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday October 6, 2014 at 10:30 am at Beecher Funeral Home, Brewster, NY. Internment will follow at St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery. Calling hrs. will be Sunday October 5 at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY from 1 to 5 pm.
