The Stratman Family posted a Condolence

Pat was a wonderful neighbor. She had lived in the same house since childhood, and had all kinds of interesting stories that made history come alive- who had the first car on the street, who gave work to a mason during the depression, etc. At least one child would have been hit by a car without her. Her Irish wit was present until the end. She joked at one point, while she may not have known who we were visiting her in the nursing home, "I'm not that far gone!". She never complained, and almost had to be forced to take something from you. Three weeks before she died, she was beaming with praise for my daughter's beginning trumpet playing. She was known for her kindness, even in the nursing home. She was a peace maker, a patient listener, a Grandmother, a friend. God Bless her!
