Neal E. Capichiano Obituary

Neal E. Capichiano, of New Milford, Connecticut, died unexpectedly on January 20, 2019 at his home. He was 49 years old.

Born on October 8, 1969 in Danbury, Connecticut, son of Joseph and Helen ‘Jeannie’ (Freese) Capichiano. Neal graduated from New Fairfield high school and attended corrections officer training. He was a corrections officer for Garner Correctional Facility in Newtown, Connecticut.

Neal will be missed by so many, he had a larger than life personality and was truly one of a kind. He deeply loved his family and friends. He owned a beautiful home in New Milford, Connecticut and took great pride in caring for his property. Neal enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved to vacation. He was predeceased by his beloved dog, Rocky.

Neal is not only survived by his mother and father but also his siblings, Joseph Capichiano and his wife Laurie of New Fairfield, CT and Paul Capichiano and his wife Regina of New Fairfield, CT, as well as his nieces and nephews, Noelle, Joseph, Nicholas, Ashton, Paige, Devon and Kayleigh. In addition, he is also survived by extended family members and he was blessed to have so many friends whom he cherished as well.
Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, New York assisted the family with arrangements and a private service will be held.
