Patricia E. Glanz ‘Patie’, a resident of Brewster, NY since 1957, died May 23, 2017 at Putnam Hospital Center. She was 87 years old.
Patricia was born on June 28, 1929 in Queens, NY, daughter to the late Edward and Loretta (Loche) Flaherty. On December 8, 1960 she married the love of her life Sidney Glanz, Sr.
Mrs. Glanz was a lover of all animals especially dogs. She was a dog show trainer/breeder for Great Danes. Patie was a longtime volunteer at the Putnam Humane Society and a founding member of the Great Dane Club of America Rescue Foundation. She was also a former chairman for the Southeast Democratic Party.
Patricia is survived by her husband Sidney; her 4 children Melodye, Laurel, Sidney and Edward and one grandchild.
