Patricia Stipak Obituary
Stipak, Patricia, age 59, a lifelong resident of Patterson, NY (Putnam Lake), died on Friday, April 7, 2017 in Bethel, CT.
Patricia was born on January 7, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph W. and Lorraine (DeBetta) Braun of Patterson, NY. She was a 1976 graduate of Brewster High School and attended SUNY at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY.
On September 25, 1993 Patricia married the love of her life, Jonathan J. Stipak in Montauk, NY.
Through the years, Patricia was an office manager for Classy Closets, as well as, a Shiatsu Massage Therapist, both in Danbury, CT. She was also a very talented singer and musician (pianist).
Patricia touched so many lives just by being herself. She loved and was loved in return.
Although she greatly enjoyed crocheting and cooking…..studying her Bible and praying for others and simply serving Jesus was the center of her life.
Patty was a very strong Christian woman. She gave her life to Jesus back in the year 2000. It was through reading the Bible and being showed by a friend that this happened. It was the Gospel. She repented of her sin, believed that Jesus died for her son on the cross and rose again, and ask him to be her savior. So when the Holy Spirit moved into her heart she was a new creature as the Bible says. God gave her a Love Like No Other. Love for family friends and others. She always said she would be willing to die if it would help her family and friends to be saved and know Jesus. She was given a heart to want to spend eternity with everybody she knows. She even said that she wants her death to be used in spreading the gospel and reaching the people that she loves.
Besides her parents and her husband Jonathan of 23 years, Patricia is survived by her brother, Joseph A. Braun (Audrey) of New Fairfield, CT and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017 10:00am at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY. Interment following at Maple Avenue Cemetery, Patterson, NY. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8pm at the funeral home. www.beecherfuneralhome.com
