Patrick Joseph Lundy

Patrick Joseph Lundy, a lifelong resident of North Salem, NY, died peacefully at Greenwich Hospital on March 22, 2019, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 78 years old.
Born on February 15, 1941 in Purdys, NY, son of the late James and Helen Lundy. Patrick graduated from Purdy’s High School in 1959 and honorably served in the US Army Reserves from 1960-1965.
In 1965 Patrick married the love of his life Vera Stack, at St. Joseph’s Church in Croton Falls, NY. They settled in the Town of North Salem and raised four children.
Pat worked as a self-employed general contractor for 50 years, building houses in the Northern Westchester area. He was an avid outdoorsman and an active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Patrick is survived by his wife Vera of 54 years, as well as a son Matthew(Stephanie) of North Reading, MA, and three daughters; Jennifer Cocuzzo(Charles) of North Salem, Stephanie Hill(Jeremy) of New Fairfield, CT, and Meghan Welch(Anson) of Wyckoff, NJ. He is also survived by grandchildren Patrick, Caroline, Trevor and Mary Kate Lundy, Kaitlyn, Brianna, and Robert Cocuzzo, Morganne, Braydon, Ryder, and Travis Hill, and Faith, Genevieve, and Michelle Welch.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on March 28, at 10am at St. Joseph’s Church in Somers, NY. The family will be having a visitation at Beecher Funeral Home in Brewster, NY on March 27, from 5-9pm.
